Working Draft Beer Company - Code of Conduct

Everyone has the right to work and co-exist in an environment where all are treated with dignity, respect, integrity, and fairness.

Working Draft Beer Company is committed to providing an environment free of discrimination. Abusive, offensive, or harassing behavior is not tolerated. In sharing these values publicly, we ask our partners, suppliers, retailers, and ambassadors to respect these values.

We acknowledge that historically our field has not been safe or welcoming to women, LGBTQIA+, BIPOC, and others. We commit to fostering an organizational culture that is not only inclusive but affirming of all identities, while we strive to change the culture in breweries.

Working Draft Beer Company pledges to:

·       Treat everyone with kindness, empathy, and mutual respect.

·       Maintain a work environment that enforces zero tolerance for any hate or discrimination based on age, gender, gender identity, gender expression, sex, sexual orientation, race, religion, orientation, conviction record, veteran status, disability, familial status, or origin.

·       Not tolerate any form of sexual harassment, including non-consensual physical contact or unwanted sexual advances.

·       Work to have a positive impact and increase equity and opportunities for all in our community.

·       Provide a healthy, professional, and collaborative work environment, free of discrimination and bias where our team and partners can thrive.

·       Investigate thoroughly, promptly, and fairly, any reports of misconduct regarding our teammates or our partners.

·       Provide a safe work environment for our team. We will not ask any teammate to enter or revisit any establishment that does not respect our values, and we reserve the right to not do business with any account which disrespects, harasses, or discriminates against our teammates.

·       Pursue corrective measures upon learning of actions that violate our values, which may include training, reprimand, suspension, and/or termination of employment.

·       Abide by all local, state, and federal laws.

·       Encourage the responsible consumption of alcohol. We understand that alcohol is often used as a tool to commit sexual violence. Our staff is trained to interrupt behaviors that can lead to sexual assault. We work with a network of partners, including the Safe Bar Network, Wisconsin Coalition Against Sexual Assault and local service providers, to actively engage in sexual violence prevention.

We invite our partners to respect and adopt these values and be accountable for the actions of their teams in the world. We provide training to partners or teammates who are looking for more information to become better community members. We welcome anyone looking for additional resources to join our training sessions. With pledges and teamwork, we can all take this industry forward - to a place of growth, inclusivity, community, and excitement.
