Collaborative Tap Takeover at Heritage Tavern

Way back in September 2018, the WDBC team traveled to Denver, CO to take part in the Great American Beer Festival - and during that time we were invited to brew a collaboration beer with Cellar West Artisan Ales, whose owner, Zach, is a Madison native and all-around great dude.

Fast forward to February 2019 and we're finally able to tap this wonderful oak-aged collab along with *two other special offerings* at the always-fantastic Heritage Tavern!

Taking place on Friday, 2/22 from 4-7pm, this will be your first opportunity to try the collab - plus Zach and his crew will be in attendance along with members of the WDBC team. Heritage will also be serving their fantastic *happy hour menu* with specials on beer, wine, cocktails + an assortment of killer small bites and sammis!

Please check out the tap takeover lineup below, and we'll hope to see you on Friday, 2/22!!
- Collab 'Moon Farm' Oak-Aged Brett Saison dry-hopped with Wisconsin-grown Skyrocket hops
- CWAA's 'Rooster Crow' Oak Aged Saison with Coffee + Blueberries

Jim Draeger "Bottoms Up" Book Signing + Beer Pairing

Join 702WI at Working Draft Beer Company on Thursday, January 24th at 7pm for a talk and Q&A with author Jim Draeger about his book Bottoms Up: A Toast to Wisconsin's Historic Bars & Breweries. Draeger will share fun and entertaining stories about Wisconsin bars and breweries, and Working Draft will serve up a special flight of beer paired to his talk! A book signing will follow.

Bottoms Up celebrates Wisconsin's taverns and the breweries that fueled them. The book traces the development of the megabreweries, dominance of the giants, and the emergence of microbreweries. Contemporary photographs of unusual and distinctive bars and breweries of all eras, historical photos, postcards, advertisements, and breweriana illustrate the story of how Wisconsin came to dominate brewing and the place that bars -- and beer -- hold in our social and cultural history.

DDH Pulp Culture - Pre-Holiday Release Party

DDH 'Pulp Culture' is BACK - and just in time for the holidays! This time jam-packed with mountains of Galaxy + Amarillo hops, this is one of our boldest hoppy endeavors to date and one we can't wait to share with the world on Friday, 12/21!!

As you may remember from the last DDH Pulp release, we worked with the amazing Kristine Lohman in designing 4 limited-edition, Warhol-inspired Pulp Culture labels, and this is the 2nd of those 4 designs (thanks, Kristine!).

Here's the skinny:
- Unlike previous DDH Pulp releases, this one will be taking place on a Friday - with the first tapping and crowler sales *kicking off at 5pm SHARP*
- We'll only have around *200 crowlers available,* with a limit of 3 per customer (with handy 3-pack carriers to boot!)
- We will no longer be able to fill DDH Pulp crowlers once these initial cans have been sold
- And because stickers are awesome, we'll once again have some free limited-edition DDH Pulp stickers for anyone who grabs a crowler (along with a re-stock of our DDH Pulp tees!)
- Price TBD

Nothing says holiday kickoff party like a DDH Pulp release on Friday, 12/21, and we can't wait to see as many of your smiling faces as possible in a few weeks!
